NEW 2-DAY YDSA PRACTICAL SURVEYING COURSE A SUCCESS

The first two-day course was held in September at Universal Marina with eight delegates. It was a successful course and the delegates provided some useful feedback so we can continue to develop and improve for the future.

The course was for those considering coming into surveying, or in the very early stages, an insight into the depth of knowledge and information needed to provide a client with the survey report they need in order to decide about buying, repair, insurance or even for a court.

The course was led by Julian Smith, YDSA Committee Member, and Duncan Weeks from Vortec Marine, an experienced shipwright and trainer.
