Northern Forum

The YDSA Northern Forums are held twice a year, on the first Thursday in March and the first Thursday in November.

The meet usually takes place in the North East and topics cover all aspects of surveying and boats. Each meet is themed and speakers are arranged to present and discuss based on the theme. Recent themes have included:

Electric marine propulsion and battery systems
Small Craft LPG systems and ventilation
Safe working practice
The Boat Safety Scheme, past present and future

The Northern Forum is open to Members and Non-Members alike.

Practical Yacht Brokers Course

The Practical Yacht Brokers Course is a two-day professional development course designed to help yacht brokers build the knowledge, confidence and practical skills needed to succeed.
