'Double Measure' is a pristine example of the highly desirable British built Fairline Targa 30. It is testament to both builder and designer that they managed to create such luxury and useable space in a 9.50M hull. Spacious, companionable cockpit, sporty helm with electronic navigation aids and recently refurbished full cockpit enclosure. Down below is clean, bright and welcoming with aft cabin, heads with toilet and shower and large horseshoe seating area with adjustable height table. Galley with spotless oven, 2-burner hob and fridge. Diesel fired cabin heating extends the season.
Well maintained KAD32 inboards serviced June 2026 and DP-E sterndrives serviced in February 2026. Engines have completed 893 hours and will cruise happily at 25 knots.
Whether you're planning weekend getaways, coastal cruising, or simply enjoying time at anchor with friends and family, the Targa 30 delivers it all with style. At £62,500 this boat represents outstanding value in the performance cruiser category.
Vessel is powered by twin Volvo Penta KAD32/DP-E inboard diesel engines. These are well maintained with full service history going back to first owners. Current hours as of July 2026 are 893. Sterndrives were fully serviced in February 2026 including new bellows and anodes. Engine bay is situated at the rear of the vessel and incorporates the aft sundeck. Electrically raised engine hatch reveals a very clean engine compartment and an engineers delight as all round access is a reality.
Sporty dash with full engine instrumentation including rev counter, working hour meters, and gauges for fuel, oil pressure, temperature and charging. Twin lever engine controls replaced along with new cables in 2025.
12/240V systems on board with distribution panel adjacent to galley with fused switches. Additional individual 12V switches at helm. Bank of 3x12V batteries providing engine start, domestic and bow thruster power. These were replaced in 2025.
Batteries are recharged either by the engine alternators or the recently installed Victron Energy smart charger.
Below decks is bright and welcoming with full standing headroom and lots of natural light and ventilation from the numerous deck hatches and port lights.
Large horseshoe shaped forward seating with central extendable dining/coffee table. The table is height adjustable and when lowered provides a spacious and comfortable double bed conversion. Below decks is carpeted throughout for additional comfort.
Aft and midships on port side is a separate twin berthed guest cabin with small sofa and deep hanging locker. The berth mattrasses were renewed with memory foam in January 2024. The aft cabin has a door to the heads and shower room giving an en-suite feel.
Heads compartment with Jabsco sea-toilet with holding tank, hot & cold shower and moulded sink with storage below. Opening port for light and ventilation.
Returning to the saloon and opposite the heads is the fully equipped galley. Front opening Engel fridge with ice compartment, Eno 2-burner gas hob, SMEV gas oven with grill and a stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressurised water.
Boat kept warm and dry thanks to the diesel fired heating system with outlets in saloon, heads compartment and aft cabin.
GRP constructed motor cruiser with planing hull. Moulded lateral spray strakes increase grip and aids manoeuvrability at both low and high speeds. Under water areas antifouled ready for the season in March 2026. Hull topsides in white and navy blue, polished 2026. Bespoke fender skirt embroidered with boat name aids hull protection and minimises scratching.
Rear teak laid bathing platform with bathing ladder locker storage. Teak continues into the cockpit. Cockpit steps have been replaced recently with iroko.
Cockpit has clearly defined areas. To starboard is the helm position with upholstered helm seat with bolster. Opposite is the co-pilot seat with adaptable back rest which hinges forward allowing the copilot seating to become part of the cockpit dining area. To the rear the rear seat back rest hinges backwards to make the upholstered engine bay cover into a large sun pad. The cockpit is kept dry thanks to the full cockpit enclosure.
