Wauquiez Centurian 32

Wauquiez Centurian 32, 1973, fine Kim Holman designed offshore cruising boat, her standing rigging was replaced in 2024, new upholstery in 2023, she has heating and a comfortable 6 berth interior, a fine sea boat with excellent sailing qualities.

MECHANICAL

Beta approx 25hp inboard diesel engine installed new in 2011, offset shaft drive with fixed propeller, 10 gallon fuel tank. Single lever control.

ELECTRICAL

Alternator charging to 2 x 12v batteries. 240v shore power. A 24v electric trickle charger was fitted in 2024.

NAVIGATION

Compass, depth, log, wind speed and direction, DSC VHF radio, windvane at masthead, tillerpilot, chart plotter, clock and barometer, navigation lights, steaming light, tricolour light and anchor light.

SAFETY

Manual bilge pump.

DECK GEAR

Stainless steel pushpit, pulpit and guardwires, sprayhood (old), spray dodgers, winter cover, cockpit cushions, boarding ladder, spinnaker pole, 2 self tailing sheet winches, 2 self tailing halyard winches, outboard bracket on pushpit, 50lb main anchor with 50 metres of chain (2024), kedge anchor, mooring warps and fenders.

SAILS

Slab reefing mainsail. Genoa roller reefing system with furling genoa. Spinnaker. Alloy mast and boom. Her stainless steel standing rigging was replaced in 2024.

DOMESTIC

Warm air diesel heating system. Her galley has a gas cooker with 2 burners, icebox, pressure cold water to sink. Her separate heads compartment has a marine toilet. Blue upholstery renewed in 2023.

OWNERS COMMENTS

"Efficacious" was purchased by her present owner in 2023, he replaced the sails with good used sails in 2024, also had new standing rigging fitted, new anchor chain and battery charger. Her upholstery was replaced in 2023. Her engine was new in around 2007.
